The Grand Prairie Arts Council (GPAC) provides visual and performing arts opportunities for Grand Prairie and the surrounding communities. GPAC produces supports and sponsors many cultural events and programs such as: Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Musical Arts, Fine Art Scholarships, Cultural Arts & Children's programming. GPAC has a renewed vision and energy for the Arts in our community with our permanent performance venue, the Uptown Theater; the GPAC Studio right next door to the Uptown Theater; and the GPAC rehearsal space at the Veteran's Park Event Center.
